1.        Appointment of Executives

Br Shammer Ali moved the motion that brothers who have been nominated in the election and is not elected shall be given prerogative to stand for SMA executive committee. Br Zakariya will talk to Br Mustafa as advised by the chairperson. Seconded By: Br Talib.  

2.        Payment of Builders report and lawyer fees

The payment of $ 400 to be paid for the builders report and $287.50 owing to a lawyer fee. The outstanding will be paid from SMA account. Moved by Br Mohammed Nadeem and seconded by Br Mahmmod

3.        Ramadan  Hafiz

The Ramadan Hafiz has been arranged by Br Mursad. The chairperson reiterated that Br Mursad have arranged a Hafiz from Malaysia. Br Shaizad will liaise with Br Mursad for other travel and accommodation arrangements for the Hafiz.

4.        General

-          Keys

SMA Masjid Keys and the stocktaking of Keys. One set keys with Br Shameer. Shed Keys with Br Shaizad and Br Shammer. It is agreed that a set of keys will be given to the president, the secretary and the treasurer.

-          2018 SMA membership record. The record must be handed to the SMA Secretary as soon as possible by Br Shameer.

-          SMA Website and Yahoo group. Br Haji Azeem Haqani is the Admin at the moment of both digital media. Br Shaizad will talk to Br Haji Azeem regarding access and password of the website and yahoo group. Br Kashiv, Br Riyaz and Br Imtiaz will liaise to work on the website and creating yahoo group.

-          Br Saiyad discussed the need of repeating the personal details in the SMA membership forms. An update of the form will note this issue as suggested by the chairperson.

-          Secretary has requested for the email and phone contact from the SMA executive members.

-          Buying of Property in Matura. The auction is on the 19^th of May 2018. The SMA will participate in the auction. The purchase (if won) will be part of SMA property.

-          Youth Committee. Suggestion to form a youth committee for SMA. Further enlightened by Br Nihaad to form a youth committee and his initiative included youth camp and youth projects.

-          SMA extensions and Development. Due to extremely depreciated infrastructure and defeated the purpose to extend the purchasing of next property, it is agreed and approved by SMA executives to renovate and develop the current property. The project funding will be done through collected funds from boxes and donations. Additional funding shall be used from SMA account. This proposal gives green light to go ahead with resource plan and concern. Builder’s arrangement and quotation for the development will be looked by Br Shaizad, Br Talib, Br Kashiv and Br Riyaaz.
